Color Gamut

A color gamut is the range of colors a display can produce. The three common gamuts are sRGB (the baseline web standard, ~35% of visible spectrum), DCI-P3 (a wider gamut used in cinema, ~45%), and Adobe RGB (used in professional photography, ~50%). A wider gamut panel can show more saturated reds, greens, and blues. Wide gamut requires color management to avoid oversaturating sRGB content.
