Color Temperature
Color temperature is the warmth or coolness of white, measured in Kelvin (K). 6500K (D65) is the standard for sRGB content — it is the color of daylight. Most monitors default to 9300K (cool, bluish) which makes whites look blue. The correct setting for accurate color is 6500K (often labeled Warm or User mode in the monitor OSD). Lower temperatures (3000-4000K) appear warm/orange; higher temperatures (9000K+) appear cool/blue.
